Install Floatboat
Download the right installer for your computer. It only takes a few minutes.
Floatboat runs on Mac, Windows, and UOS. You'll find every installer on our download page.
Download the installer
Go to floatboat.ai/download and download the version for your computer.
On a Mac and not sure which one to pick?
Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and choose About This Mac. If the Chip line says something like Apple M1 or M2, pick the Apple silicon version. If it says Intel, pick the Intel version.
Install it
Open the installer
Double-click the .dmg file you just downloaded. A small install window pops up.
Drag it into Applications
In that window, drag the Floatboat icon onto the Applications folder. Let go, and you're done.
Open Floatboat
Find Floatboat in Launchpad or in your Applications folder and double-click it. The first time you open it, macOS reminds you that the app came from the internet. Click Open.
On UOS, follow the instructions on the download page.
Staying up to date
You don't need to do anything. Floatboat checks for new versions on its own and lets you know when an update is ready, so you won't have to download and reinstall it yourself.
